Tofu is NOT for dinner...

The Content Byte

Hey Reader,

I’m not a fan of tofu but in business…TOFU is necessary.

Creating content that caters to customers at every stage of their buying journey is absolutely essential for any business.

Are you creating content with a clear purpose?

If not, you should be.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of tofu is the bland, white, squishy blocks sold in the vegan section of the grocery store.

But that’s not the type of tofu I’m talking about today.

I’m talking about your funnel.

There are three parts to any customer journey funnel, starting with TOFU.

TOFU: Top-of-funnel

MOFU: Middle-of-funnel

BOFU: Bottom-of-funnel

Let me break this down further so you understand the importance.

TOFU:

When it comes to top-of-funnel content, consider it the first impression you make on potential customers.

It's like casting a wide net to attract as many people as possible.

This includes blog posts, social media updates, and engaging videos that showcase your brand's personality and value.

The goal here is to pique their interest and introduce them to what you have to offer.

MOFU:

Next, we come to middle-of-funnel content. Now that you've caught the attention from potential customers, it's time to educate and nurture those potential customers.
This is where you dive deeper into your products or services, providing webinars, case studies, and informative guides highlighting how your offerings can solve their problems.

It's like taking them by the hand and guiding them closer to making a purchase decision.

By giving them valuable insights and building trust, you increase the likelihood of them choosing your brand over competitors.

BOFU:
Finally, we reach the bottom-of-funnel content, where the magic happens. These pieces of content are the final touches that seal the deal and convert prospects into paying customers.

This stage includes product demos, customer testimonials, and special offers that entice them to take that leap and make a purchase.

By developing a comprehensive content strategy that covers all stages of the customer journey, you can engage and convert your target audience much more effectively.

So, whether you're just starting out or looking to grow your business further, remember the importance of creating content that caters to different funnel stages.

It's the key to attracting, nurturing, and converting potential customers into loyal brand advocates, ultimately driving growth and revenue.

The Content Byte Hey Reader, Since I recently launched Social Pop, I figured it would be helpful to discuss which social media platforms business owners should focus on. It can get overwhelming with so many to choose from. But with so many platforms out there, how do you choose the right ones for your business? The first step is understanding yourself (your brand) and your ideal customer. What's your brand voice? Playful and casual, or professional and authoritative? Who are you trying to...

The Content Byte The new year brings about new goals, and if video marketing is one of your goals, then keep reading. I recently had a convo with someone almost ready to start recording videos for their business, but they had one problem. They weren't confident on camera. I hear this a lot. As someone who is eternally introverted, I understand. When I first started my YouTube channel, I was HORRIBLE. I tripped over my words, fidgeted, and didn't look into the camera. Recording videos does get...
