Over the past few weeks, I’ve been actively experimenting with Pinterest (more on that below) to help increase the organic traffic to both of my businesses. While I dabbed with Pinterest a few years ago, it was never been a priority for me to start paying more attention to this platform until I became a content marketer. We all know that business is constantly changing, and to stay competitive, sometimes your strategy has to adapt. Traditional paid marketing, while effective in the past, isn’t enough to stand out in today’s crowded online space. By creating valuable and relevant content, businesses can drive organic traffic to their websites and increase brand awareness to establish themselves as industry leaders. It’s okay to experiment with new platforms and marketing techniques. In fact, I encourage you to, especially when it comes to organic traffic. Free leads? Yes, please! So, don't be afraid to take risks, get creative, and make the most of the potential benefits that content marketing can bring to your overall marketing strategy. JUST FOR YOU: Tools I'm using and loving right now:Pinterest Automatic: This tool automatically pins your blog pins to your Pinterest account! Before I used this tool, I was averaging 2.6 monthly views on my ReNursing Edu Pinterest account. In just two weeks, I’m now up to 5.5 monthly views! I know this isn’t mind-blowing, but it does take time for Pinterest to optimize fully, and I was surprised to see my monthly views more than double in 2 weeks. Oh, and this was just from pinning pins from one of my blogs. I haven't even optimized the other 100 blogs I have on that site. I’m going to continue to use this tool for both of my businesses to grow organic traffic. It’s a simple setup; and you only have to upload your pins to your blogs, and Pinterest Automatic will automatically schedule them for you. Worried about creating the actual pins that will be scheduled? Don't be! I'm testing bulk pin creation methods now using Chat GPT and Canva that cut down on the time it takes to design pins.
